  • Vermont Pro Bono and Community Legal Resources

The tiny state of Vermont has a population of just 622,000 souls. About nine percent of them are currently living at or below the U.S. federal poverty line. Access to inexpensive legal services is vital to such individuals, since they are at greater risk of having their rights abused. Without the right representation, it is all too easy for low-income and indigent Vermonters to get lost in the shuffle. Due to the small size of the state - and its scant population - there isn't a massive need for pro bono services and community legal resources; still, what is available is more than sufficient. You can learn more about the community legal resources and pro bono services that are available in Vermont by checking out the information below.
