The primary source of pro bono services in the state of Tennessee is the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services, or TALS. This statewide, non-profit organization works to help elderly and low-income Tennesseans with a wide range of legal needs, including representation. The Corporate Counsel Pro Bono Initiative, which is coordinated by the TBA Access to Justice Committee, also serves low-income residents of the state with their legal needs.
