  • North Dakota Pro Bono & Community Legal Resources

North Dakota covers a massive geographical area; however, very few people reside in the state. Indeed, the population of the state of North Dakota hovers right around 646,000 people. Around 12.1% of them are living at or below the U.S. federal poverty level. Whether they are in Bismarck, Fargo or some other part of the state, such individuals deserve to have their legal rights protected. Without the financial means to hire an attorney, though, many such individuals end up losing their rights. It is critical that low-income or indigent North Dakotans make full use of the community legal resources and pro bono services that are available in the state.
