    New Mexico's official state nickname is Land of Enchantment. For approximately 19.3% of the state's nearly 2 million residents, though, life isn't easy. All too often, such individuals forgo legal representation when issues with the law arise. It doesn't have to be that way, though; the state of New Mexico has a large array of topnotch pro bono and community legal resources for those who need them.     Pro Bono Services in New Mexico

    The majority of New Mexico's pro bono services are provided via a partnership between the State Bar of New Mexico and the New Mexico State Bar Foundation. The New Mexico State Bar Foundation was founded in 1991. It works in conjunction with the State Bar to provide free legal assistance in civil matters for New Mexico's poorest residents.
